On Saturday 11 November the Year 4A&B Netball teams went to The Rowans to take part in a Netball Tournament. The girls arrived very excited and ready to play some great Netball. The Year 4A Team played extremely well throughout the morning, demonstrating good footwork, powerful passing and great defending skills. The girls played a total of 5 matches in which they only conceded 1 goal and scoring a total of 23. As the girls won all of their matches they finished in 1st place, taking home a well-earned gold medal. A fantastic achievement!
The Year 4B team equally played some excellent Netball throughout the Tournament. They dodged in to space and passed the ball down the court successfully to the shooters. The Year 4B team drew 1 match and won 3. The Year 4B Team also won their Tournament taking home a very proud gold medal. Well done to all girls involved.
On Monday 20 November Year 4 went to Holy Cross to play in The Small Schools Netball Tournament. The Study girls arrived filled with excitement and anticipation. It was a round robin tournament which meant the girls had to play all of the schools, a total of 5 matches. It didn’t take long for them to demonstrate their exceptional talent all around the netball court. They intercepted the ball well and displayed strong, accurate passing and fantastic shooting. They won all of their matches and did not concede a single goal throughout the tournament – another fantastic achievement! Once again, they came home with a well-deserved gold medal.
