Year 4 girls were in for treat when they went to the New Wimbledon Theatre to see the renowned children’s book author and illustrator, and famed political cartoonist, Chris Riddell. He was very entertaining and the girls found out how he sharpened his pencils (much to their amusement), before creating a wonderful illustration before their eyes as he spoke about his work.

“I love Chris Riddell because he writes fantastic stories and does amazing drawings. His latest book is “Goth Girl and the Sinister Symphony” and it is the best book in the world. We went to see him at the New Wimbledon Theatre and he did a drawing for “The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.” Scarlett
