The Year 1 Yellow girls were in for a wonderful and creative time , when renowned artists, Annya Sand, who is well known for her stunning abstract oil paintings, came into school to work with the girls last week. She helped them understand the process of making art, and had them observing and sketching pumpkins before translating them to sculptures using coloured plasticine. She explained about her life as an artist and all the girls found the session both stimulating and fun.
