Year 3 girls enjoyed a wonderful day trip to the coast this week when they travelled to Hastings to further explore their classroom seaside topic of “Deep Down Under”. The sunny warm weather made the trip most enjoyable for the girls, who enjoyed a fascinating talk at the RNLI and saw the lifeboats, took a ride on an old fashioned steam train, saw interesting exhibits at the Fisherman’s Museum and spent time at the beach collecting pebbles and shells and sketching the boats. It was a fantastic educational trip that brought the seaside topic to life for the girls.
