The Year 3 girls had a fascinating trip to the All England Lawn Tennis Club this week, where they learnt all about this historic and world famous landmark, situated right on our doorstep. The girls were fascinated by how much work goes into putting on the annual tennis championships, and the attention to detail every single part of the process takes. They also had a chance to pretend to be sports news broadcasters, and looked at the museum and saw, amongst many other things, some of the old fashioned tennis outfits the players had to wear in the past! It was a fascinating outing.
