Study girls had a fascinating week just before half term as they crossed continents and learnt all about different countries and cultures from around the world. The normal timetable was suspended while each class focussed on a different country and took part in a variety of music, dance, art and performance workshops with an international theme. Girls enjoyed a wide array of diverse activities at both sites, such as a Caribbean Music Workshop, Polish Folk Music, French theatre, Chinese dragon dancing. Asian silk painting, African story telling, Spanish art and baking, Korean food tasting, Irish art and culture and the opportunity to dress up in national costumes. Even the daily school menu was inspired by delicious cuisines from around the globe. The girls had a wonderful time learning about the rich and varied world we live in.
