The Pre-prep and Prep girls had a wonderful active and fun filled day at the Study’s annual Sports Day. It was a great event, enjoyed by all, with a carousel of activities including bouncers, the sack race, bean throw, egg and spoon and middle distance as well as sprinting events. The Prep girls also took part in mini hurdles, relays and 100m sprints.
We were lucky with the weather holding off until the very end, but must congratulate the Year 5 girls on their resilience (this month’s Value) in running their sprints even when the heavens opened and the rain started to pour down! Very well done to all the girls, and of course the PE Department for arranging all the details of this special day. Smidge the dog also had a great deal of fun!
