Reception girls found a letter from the postman behind the door saying he was ill and could not deliver his mail today. He asked if the girls could help, so they went around the Common to deliver his letters. They found out about their local community and met lots of local people. They spoke to Mrs Lawrence at the allotments, Charlotte at the Hotel du Vin, the Rangers on the common, Daniel at the Fox and Grapes and Sally at the Almshouses. The girls all asked questions to find out what people do in the community. It was a very informative day!
