We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Prep School of the Year Award 2021.
The title is awarded to a prep school in the UK for its performance in the 2019-20 academic year and it is fantastic to be recognised in the shortlist of this category. Judges select schools on more than academic achievement alone – they look for a school to demonstrate innovation, imagination, and efforts to develop children in ways that go beyond the league tables.
Head Teacher, Vicky Ellis, said, “It is wonderful that our school has been shortlisted for the Tes Prep School of the Year Award. This shortlisting is a reflection of all the hard work of our pupils, staff and families and is recognition of its many strengths – the amazing academic results, the outstanding pastoral care and most importantly our happy girls who love school and learning, even in lockdown! I am incredibly proud of our entire school community, as was my recent predecessor, Susan Pepper.”
Tes Editor, John Severs, said, "After a difficult year for all schools, it is an honour to celebrate the Tes Independent School awards, not only to celebrate excellent practice but to ensure that practice is shared far and wide.
We received an unparalleled number of entries this year, which is testament to the great work we have all done during the pandemic. The schools that have been shortlisted should be proud – it's a remarkable achievement."
Tes Independent School Awards winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony on Friday 30 April 2021.
