The girls travelled to Hurstpierpoint College to compete in the IAPS regionals competition.
They had a great run in the pool sections playing some excellent netball.
First games we played were the pool stages against
Micklesfield School 4-3,
Windlesham House 7-4
Westbourne House 5-1
Highfield 6-3
Pembridge Hall 6-5
As they won all their matches they were straight into the quarter finals. The team who played them in the quarters was Kent College. Unfortunately our girls lost, which meant they had to have a play off to qualify for the Nationals.
In the play-offs the girls played against their old rivals Holy Cross. It was a very tight end to end game but the team managed to get a few goals ahead and win by one goal!
The last match was to decide who came in 5th and 6th order for the Nationals. The girls played against hosts Hurstpierpoint and won, meaning they qualified for the Nationals on the 9th of March in 5th position.
A great day out with surprisingly good weather! We are very proud of all the girls and their hard work. Well done and good luck at Nationals!
