Our talented Year 5 and 6 athletes did exceptionally well at the National Prep Schools Athletics Regional tournament held in Eton on June 12. The relay team comprising Ayisha D, Mikaya A, Sophie B and Mabel-Rose S won Gold; Mabel-Rose achieved her personal best in her sprint and won the race as well as winning the long jump event; Sophie B also achieved her personal best in her 200m sprint, comfortably winning the Gold Medal (all her training and commitment has paid off beautifully this athletics season); Ayisha came third in her long jump; Natalie B performed well and came 2nd in high jump and Georgina C and Sophie B both did exceptionally well clinching Gold in the 800m and 200m events respectively. The Year 6 girls will be competing in the Nationals on the 4 July.
