The girls in Year 5M have adopted a lion named Rory from the WWF and they have been doing some research on the pride it comes from in the Masai Mara in East Africa. Even lions, the “Kings of the Jungle”, are now becoming endangered through illegal poaching and drought, so the girls are only too pleased to help support this worthy cause and help save these majestic creatures.
