Year 5 had a workshop at Spencer House this week all about Women in History; their struggles, their work, and their contribution to society. The workshop was given by the Freshwater Theatre Company and it was a fun and interactive event which brought the lives and contributions of great women like Frida Kahlo, Elizabeth Garratt Anderson, Maria Montessori, Emily Davison and Emmeline Pankhurst, amongst others, to life for the girls.
