The School comes together for Harvest Festival

The Study held its annual Harvest Festival on Wednesday 8 October at Wilberforce House, when the whole school gathered together to give thanks for all the food we have to eat and collect foodstuffs for charity.  It was a heart-warming service: all the girls lifted their voices in praise and sang some beautiful hymns, whilst some did moving readings and prayers.  The Reverend Chris Griffiths, curator of St Mary’s Church, Wimbledon Village, concluded the proceedings with a special thanksgiving talk, helped by his puppet companion, Millbank!  Over the last few weeks, the girls have been bringing in a wide selection of food, which the Wimbledon Guild will take to the Wimbledon Foodbank.  Thank you to all the girls and their families for their generosity.
