Audiences were astounded and delighted by the inspirational and creative production of the Year 5 and 6 show, The Wizard of Oz. Performed over three nights, the show was an absolute triumph, with the cast taking the audiences on a trip of emotion, wonder and delight. The acting, singing, dancing, and overall performance from each and every girl was exemplary, and the set design, costumes, make-up , staging and overall direction ensured that every aspect of this show was of a highly professional standard. The classic tale was brought to life by clever creative technical twists, including bubble and smoke machines, fantastic sound and lighting, and excellent stage direction. Very well done to ALL the 60 girls who took part in the fantastic production, and congratulations to our inspirational Creative Arts team, with a special mention to show director Claire Kirkby for all her hard work and dedication, and to Mrs Brown for her constant musical inspiration.
