Diwali, the five-day festival of lights, is celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs and Jains across the world. Diwali is a festival of new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil, and light over darkness. The girls enjoyed a special assembly about the festival, and Tara J in Year 5 gave a splendid overview of the festival that the girls enjoyed and contributed to. We thank Mr and Mrs Chauhan, who came into Year 2 to talk to the girls about the Festival also.
