All the girls did themselves proud as they came to school dressed up as their favourite book characters for The Study’s Book Day today. There was a special assembly at Wilberforce House as well as a Cake Sale and a Book Sale, and the girls at Spencer House all dressed up too, and listened to the Public Speaking Competition in the morning, and enjoying the cake sale. The teachers also joined in the fun, with plenty of Ooompa Loompas spotted at Wilberforce House; and Mary Poppins and Paddington Bear were seen teaching the girls at Spencer House!
As you can see from the photos below, the whole school was awash with colour and creativity, and the girls put a lot of effort into their costumes – a wonderful celebration of the love of reading!
