Mrs Pepper had to hand over the reins of leadership when both Wilberforce House and Spencer House had new Headmistresses for the day!
Maria Pavin, Year 3O, had a very busy time at the helm at Wilberforce House. Her duties included welcoming children at the gate; leading a school assembly on the theme of this term’s charity ‘Born Free’, as well as organising a cake sale for the charity; giving out certificates and reporting house points, and taking guests on tours of the school. Maria also selected pizza for school lunch, which went down a treat with her pupils!
Edie Crowe, Year 5B, was in the driving seat at Spencer House for the day, and she was also involved in many roles, including handing out prizes and certificates at assembly; shaking hands with pupils at the door, having a strategic lunch meeting with her special guests, and selecting a special lunch of the day – delicious coriander and garlic chicken, followed by white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake! Mrs Pepper was very impressed with both girls’ leadership qualities, and was content that the school was in safe hands, so very well done!
