Year 6 girls had an interesting and inspirational day out this week when they visited the Museum of London, which documents the history of the UK's capital city from prehistoric to modern times and is located in the City of London. The girls enjoyed arrived by tube, and were then taken on a voyage of discovery, learning about the rich history of the city all brought to life through fantastic interactive displays narrated by the beasts of London. Brave lions, majestic eagles, wily foxes and even pigeons all had a role to play, and the girls learnt so much about their city. The trip has inspired them to think about writing some poetry influenced by what they saw. We cannot wait to read the results of their creativity!
