1 in 4 disadvantaged children in the UK have fewer than ten books at home, while 1 in 8 children have none. The Children’s Book Project aims to tackle this book poverty by donating good quality used books to children in need. The Study Prep has always stressed the importance of reading, and our girls like nothing more than to read a good book and get lost in a world of imagination and adventure. The girls have all been very generous and have brought in some of their favourite books from home to give to children this Christmas, many have written personal messages to the children in the front of the books.
