Girls at The Study are very aware of issues in the wider world, and they have all been moved by the tragic natural disaster in Australia, with the terrible fires that are still raging and destroying the habitat. As an act of support, our girls came into school recently dressed in mufti and raised money for this very important cause. Our donation will be given to WWF’s Emergency Bushfire Appeal and put towards both Wilberforce and Spencer House becoming a ‘Koala Protector’. WWF has said that funds will go towards restoring homes for wildlife and supporting the response and recovery teams. The girls raised an amazing £1333.99 for the cause, which included monies from the Year 6 cake Sale that the girls organised this week. Well done girls!
