This term the Year 2 Creative Curriculum topic is Yum! Yum!, and the girls will explore food, nutrition, taste and where our food comes from. The girls came into school to see a variety of different types of food in the classroom that they could smell and taste. They then discovered a basket full of seaside items and two seagulls. The girls discussed the clues and they realised that the items all related to the book The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch. They read the story and did some creative written work around the text.
