Girls from Years 3-6 went to Charterhouse School for a Guildford High Athletics event this week.
The girls performed very well, showing some excellent displays of determination, grit, competitiveness and great sportsmanship throughout all events.
In the track events the girls managed to get a great range of podium positions, with seven 1sts, five 2nds and five 3rds. In the field events, the girls performed very well with Year 6 having a go at the shot put and the javelin, two events some had never tried before. The girls came home with four 1sts, two 2nds and four 3rds. It was a fantastic afternoon out for all involved!
