Through the British Council e-Twinning website, Dr Sarkany and her Year 5 French classes have found penpals to correspond with in Saint-Péray (Ardèche). The Study girls sent out letters first and this week we received letters back. The girls’ reaction on opening their letters speaks for itself. One of them announced,
“It is so nice to know that I have a French friend I can write to.”
Next we are planning on writing brief descriptions of ourselves so we can play ‘Guess Who’ via Skype and meet our penpals virtually face to face.
