Year 6 treated us to an assembly with a Spanish theme as t hey have been investigating why Spain is known, amongst other things, for la marcha: the bubbly and high spirited character of the country and the vivacious life style of the people. Every year across the country numerous ferias (festivals) are held in celebration of a local tradition, a religious occasion or just for fun! They told us about Los Reyes Magos, Las Fallas de Valencia, La Feria de Agosto in Málaga and finally the world’s biggest food fight in Bunol: ‘La Tomatina’!
