Our athletes had a very successful afternoon this week at this prestigious athletics meeting. The Year 3’s did a superb job as it was their first event for the school.
Sprinting: We were particularly proud of the girls’ sprinting prowess, with our Year 3, 5, and 6 groups winning most races. Many congratulations in particular to Georgina Carrington and Mabel Rose Scales, both in Year 3 who won most of their races. Well done also to Sophie Crump in Year 4, who came 2nd in the 600 meters. The whole of the Year 5 team did particularly well, as did the Year 6 group.
Relays: Year 3 won, Year 4 came 4th, Year 5 won, and Year 6 came in 2nd.
Well done girls and we look forward to lots of future athletics accolades!
