The Study U10s played in an U10 netball tournament at St Georges, Weybridge on Saturday 21 March. Twelve schools were involved, with six schools placed in two groups. The Study girls started well winning their first four games with excellent scores. In the fifth game, they faced tough opposition from Holy Cross, always a great team, who narrowly beat The Study 4-3. This meant we were runners up in our group and faced Hall Grove, the winners of the other group in the semi-final. Our girls were fired up for this match and took an early lead, with a score of 4-1 at half-time. In the second half, the Study girls persisted and with some inspired interceptions won the game. This meant they faced Holy Cross again in the final! The Study girls played really well both offensively and defensively, and beat our worthy opponents decisively with a winning score of 5-2. Well done team!
