The glorious sunshine set the scene and added an air of carefree celebration to the special event the girls enjoyed to celebrate the 121st birthday of The Study. The whole school came together for a picnic lunch in the Wilberforce House playground which included delicious sandwiches, fresh fruit and cupcakes put on by the Brookwood team, and they also enjoyed tempting ice cream cones for dessert. After lots of fun in the playground, the girls enjoyed an exciting magic show performed by Simon Says, which had everyone in fits of laughter! A delicious celebration cake then appeared and Mrs Pepper asked for two special helpers from the audience to cut the cake alongside her and Miss Gay – the oldest and the youngest girls at The Study. Lauren in Year 6 and Zahra in Reception came up to do the honours. It was a memorable day and a fantastic way to celebrate the rich heritage and the continuing success of the school.
