Our formidable team of team of runners travelled to Hampshire to take part in the ISA Regional Cross Country Championships at Sherfield School. Fifteen schools with 83 runners were at the start line of the race, covering a distance of 1700m on a challenging fast course on varied terrain. Our girls did their best as usual and all ran fantastically well, ensuring the following results:
Final positions; Jasmin K – 3rd with individual medal; Sophie W – 6th; Indigo P – 8th; Lauren M – 9th; Anna T – 18th, and Niamh T – 21st.
These excellent results mean we are the Regional Champions and Jasmin, Lauren, Indigo, and Sophie have been selected to run in the National finals this Saturday. Very best of luck for the weekend and well done to all the girls who did the school proud!
